OATH-TAKING OF NEWLY PROMOTED EMPLOYEES

ALWAD conducted oath-taking ceremony on August 01,2022 to nine(9) permanent employees who were promoted from their positions. These were Mr. Geoffrey P. Ramil from Industrial Relations Development Management Assistant B to Industrial Relations Development Management Assistant A, Mr. John Joseph a. Dulay from Clerk Processor C to Accounting Processor A; Mr. Jayrime C. Carambas from Administrative Services Aide to Administration Services Assistant C, Anamarina B. Dona from Utilities/Customer Services Assistant E to Utilities/Customer Services Assistant D; Ms. Jovielyn C. Jose from Administrative Services Aide to Corporate Budget Assistant, Mr. Roger C. Dela Cruz from Water Resources Facilities Tender B to Water Resources Facilities Tender A, Mr. Jefferson B. Rivero from Water Resources Facilities Operator C to Water Resources Facilities Operator B, Mr. Coronato A. Cabreros Jr. from Water Resources Facilities Operator C to Water Resources Facilities Operator B and Mr. Camilo B. Gacal Water Resources Facilities Operator C to Water Resources Facilities Operator B.

The abovementioned employees undergone a rigid Recruitment and Selection process in accordance with the Omnibus Rules on Appointment and other Human Resource Actions(ORA-OHRA) of the Civil Service Commission(CSC).

WORLD WATER DAY

“Groundwater: Making the Invisible, Visible”, is the theme for the World Water Day 2022. ALWAD as a Government-owned and Controlled Corporation(GOCC) is an active participant during the celebration of the World Water Day because of its mandate to provide safe, potable and adequate drinking water to Alicianos. This year, the said activity was held at the Mini Dam, Linglingay on March 22,2022 by cleaning and cutting the branches of big trees.

National Women's Month  2022

This year celebration of the National Women’s Month started with the participation of female ALWAD employees to the motorcade of the Bureau of Fire Protection on March 1,2022 since March is their National Prevention Month. On March 7,2022 during the Flag Cermony, the kick-off program was made. A prayer led by Ms. Alessandra Macapagal, an Engineering Assistant followed by the Singing of the National Anthem with the women outcast “Lupang Hinirang was played, a brief discussion of the National Women’s Month by Dir. Florinda Alejandro and the some accomplishments of the district in its persistence to be a genderized agency was also shared by Ms. Anamarina B. Doña. After the kick-off ceremony, the nine(9) female employees, two(2) female Board of Directors with three(3) male employees went to the Lower Magat Ecotourism Park for the women’s month forum and discussion.

            On March 8,2022, the Alicia Water District distributed personalized mugs to the identified “JUANA’s”  (firewomen, Policewomen, female rescuers, Barangay Nutrition Scholars of the 18 concession barangays, and Rural Health Workers). On the other hand, KN95 face masks was also distributed to those who paid their water bills the same day.
